One of the first questions we hear when someone calls to schedule an appointment is:
“How much is it?”
It’s a perfectly reasonable question. But as much as we’d love to give a quick answer, the truth is: pricing electrical work over the phone just doesn’t serve you well — and we’ll explain why.
At Blue Line Electric, we believe in honesty and accuracy. We don’t want to give you a number that turns out to be wrong or misleading. Quoting a price without seeing the actual job can lead to confusion, disappointment, or unexpected changes later.
We’d rather do it right the first time — and that means seeing the job in person before putting a price on it.
No two homes are exactly alike. Even for something that seems simple — like installing a ceiling fan or replacing a breaker — there are always variables.
Maybe your ceiling doesn’t have the right support. Maybe your electrical panel uses a specific brand of breaker. Maybe your wiring isn’t up to code. These are things we just can’t know until we’re on site.
That’s why every quote we give is based on the unique conditions of your home.
If another company gives you a quote without seeing the work, you may end up paying more than you should — or be hit with surprise costs after they arrive.
We believe you deserve better.
That’s why we offer **free in-person assessments** for most residential electrical projects. This allows us to evaluate the work, answer your questions, and provide a quote that’s accurate, fair, and tailored to your home.
Give us a call or schedule a visit — we’re here to do the job right from the very beginning.
